Through this program, you’ll grow your professional brand and expertise, get access to exclusive content and opportunities, and expand your network of event professionals - all while earning points for activities that are most interesting to you in an environment of friendly competition for the top spot on the Hopinsiders leaderboard.
Getting started as a Hopinsider is easy – Simply activate your profile here, browse available activities, and complete the ones you’re interested in. Start exploring the “Onboarding” section of the Hopinsiders portal with the following recommended activities:
As you progress through your advocacy journey, earn points for completing Hopinsiders activities and badges which you can track in the upper right hand side of the Hopinsiders dashboard. As you earn more points, you’ll move up the Hopinsiders leaderboard and unlock more exclusive benefits. Examples of activities that you can earn points for:
While you can engage with activities in the dashboard at any time, you might also occasionally receive invitations for opportunities via email from the Hopinsiders team or your customer success manager.
Although in most cases your Hopinsiders points will appear on your Hopinsiders dashboard immediately after you completed an advocacy activity, in some cases, it might take up to 5 business days for the points to be assigned to you.
You can redeem your points for both monetary and non-monetary rewards at any time under the ‘Rewards' section of the Hopinsiders dashboard. Monetary rewards include gift cards, registration bundles, etc. Non-monetary rewards include exclusive experiences and custom swag.
For non-monetary rewards, please allow up to 5 business days for the Hopinsiders team to process your redemption request and follow up with you to confirm next steps.
**Disclaimer: If you redeem a monetary reward, you are solely responsible for any applicable taxes incurred by you relating to the receipt of the reward. We may be required to report taxable amounts to the appropriate taxing authority. Hopin is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen rewards. Hopinsiders Membership Qualifications
As a Hopinsider, you unlock exclusive benefits and opportunities that will help amplify your story, your brand and your passion. Our hope is that you feel energized as one of Hopin’s biggest champions and remain active throughout the duration of your membership by opting in to activities, engaging with fellow Hopinsiders, and being responsive to our requests.
To uphold the value of the program, there are a few Hopinsiders membership qualifications:
**Active means the customer has completed an advocacy activity or a redemption. Advocacy activities do not include activating your profile, logging in to the portal, transferring points to a different team member, etc.
Additional Hopinsider Participation Terms
Except where expressly prohibited by law, Hopin may, in its sole discretion, alter, limit, or modify these Guidelines, Rewards, eligibility for Membership, or any other feature of the Hopinsider advocacy program (“Program”) (including assigning any of its obligations without recourse) or may terminate the program any time at its sole discretion. It is your responsibility to check or review these Guidelines from time to time to keep informed of any changes. Your continued participation in the Program constitutes your acceptance of any Program changes.
Hopin makes no warranty, whether express or implied, in any respect as to any Rewards available within the Program.
Hopin reserves the right to exclude you from or to discontinue your participation in the Program and to audit your membership account at any time, in our sole, but reasonable, discretion. Abuse or failure to follow any terms of the Program, any suspected abuse of the Program, illegal activity, fraud, misrepresentation or other conduct inconsistent with these Guidelines and/or detrimental to Hopin’s interests, may result in the revocation of your membership and make you ineligible for further participation in the Program. We also reserve the right to take appropriate legal action, in our sole discretion. If your membership is cancelled or revoked, any rewards or benefits in your account will automatically expire and your access to the Program automatically terminate.

YOU AGREE THAT NO CLAIMS OR ACTION IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY OR IN TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) ARISING OUT OF, OR RELATED TO, YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM, USE OF ANY REWARDS OR OTHER BENEFIT OR THESE TERMS MAY BE BROUGHT BY YOU MORE THAN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION RELATING TO SUCH CLAIM OR ACTION AROSE. If an advocate hasn’t been active within the portal and hasn’t earned any new points in the previous 12 months, their points will expire and Hopinsiders membership may be revoked.
For monetary rewards, we are unable to offer a return or exchange once you’ve submitted your redemption request. For non-monetary rewards like exclusive experiences, we may consider a return or exchange if your redemption request hasn’t been processed yet. If you’ve already provided your shipping address for redeeming swag item(s), we unfortunately will not be able to offer a return or exchange.
Yes! If you would like to transfer your points to another team member within your organization that has taken over Hopin ownership, please reach out to [email protected]. Transferring points does not qualify as activity. Transferring your points to members outside your organization is not permitted.
