Session's Breakout rooms allow you to split a large number of participants into smaller, separate meetings. This can be useful for group discussions, brainstorming sessions,or team workshops.
To start, go to controls and select Breakout Rooms. Then select the number of groups, decide if you want to stay aside or participate in them, and choose whether to activate a timer for participants to be mindful of time.
Next, review who will be part of each group. Not convinced with the distribution? Click shuffle or change people's groups as you see fit.
Click Break out, and each participant will be sent to their breakout room and see the timer. They can leave the room at any time by clicking "Return to main room" and rejoin by clicking here.
Once the time is up, click on "End Breakouts" and the groups will be taken back to the main room.
