A website is a first impression –– and the front door to your event.
Canvas is Hopin’s no-code website builder and provides a powerful new tool for event organizers to quickly build stunning event landing pages for all of their events.
Do you want your event registration page to look as eye-catching as this, but you are neither a designer, nor a developper? No worries, we got you! With Hopin Canvas you can build beautifully branded event registration pages that are functional, captivating for event marketing and best of all, require no coding at all, but can be created simply with a drag and drop editor.
Keep watching to learn how you can use Canvas to create your own stunning landing page.
Start from the Registration > Registration page section and select Hopin Canvas.
You then want to choose one of the themes and start customizing it. My favorite color is Purple so I’ll choose this one for now.
As you can see, your event’s details will be added automatically to your Canvas layout. This is what it looks like in its basic form. Not bad, right? Here at the top you can preview what your landing page looks like in different device modes for mobile, tablet and desktop. Your event’s details will be added automatically to your Canvas layout with various sections and a Register button in the header. And if you are as indecisive as me and want to edit your page layout or theme, you can do so here on the left.
When you’re happy with your choice, you can start customizing the layout and theme to match your brand colors. You can change the background picture, add your logo and play around with the font and color palette. Use the arrows here to undo or redo any changes.
To edit any of the pre-populated text blocks, simply click on it. From the menu on the left, select any blocks you want to add and choose the design that works best for you. Once added, you can use the controls here to duplicate the block, move it up or down or delete it again.
Choose the Speakers section to highlight your speakers in a grid view. If you already have speaker profiles uploaded to your event dashboard, you can simply drag and drop them to this section and rearrange them as needed. The same applies to your schedule elements, which you can import directly from your dashboard to add them to your registration page.
Another great idea is to showcase your sponsors and vendors in the Sponsors and Expo sections. Not only will that increase brand awareness, but it will also help your attendees get hyped for the event.
Lastly, make use of the Media section here at the bottom to add a video or iframe block to your registration page. That is a great way to share quick demos, previews or welcome messages with your audience.
Once you’re happy with all the elements, you can preview it here. Don’t forget to click save before returning to your dashboard.
Canvas is such a versatile tool to design your very own beautifully branded registration page with just a few clicks, so start getting creative!
Thanks for watching this video, we’ll see you in the next one!
