Roundtables Europe 2022 cast a wider net than in previous years, and addressed European decarbonization for the acceleration of the continent’s energy transition. Solar and energy storage remained central to the discussion, but the program also looked across sectors to explore how they can be effectively electrified or supplied with clean energy.

On June 28 and 29, the program for pv magazine’s virtual Roundtables Europe 2022 framed the key issues for solar and battery energy storage, and their role throughout the European economy as countries in the region approach decarbonization and energy security with renewed urgency.
Participants joined the discussion on European solar and storage, taking in technology, markets, finance, business models and new opportunities, and more besides.

- Session 9 | Spreading the load: Risk sharing in mature solar PPA markets
- Session 10 | Hydrogen business models and battery technologies for solar projects
The mainstage program at Roundtables Europe 2022 was in English, however, German, Spanish, and French networking discussions and breakout sessions with our European moderators provided a wide range for attendees to join the discussion.
