Bermuda Aquarium Museum and Zoo/ Bermuda Zoological Society (BAMZ) (BZS)
The Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo (BAMZ) is a section of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources within the Bermuda Government's Ministry of Home Affairs. It provides displays (marine and terrestrial) on Bermuda’s natural history and selected exotic animals from island environments and communicates the theme “Bermuda and islands of the world,” in a lively and informative manner. The Bermuda Zoological Society (BZS) is the charity that exists to support the development of exhibits and programmes in education and conservation research. The shared mission statement of BAMZ and BZS is: “To inspire appreciation and care of island environments”.
