This session will explore the impact of suicide on those who work in Primary Care. The session will focus on the impact of a suicide loss on the provider, how providers can support their and their patients’ mental health following a loss by suicide, as well as share suicide loss resources for patients and families. We will also explore the impact of a personal or professional loss by suicide on the provider and how to address suicide risk within the medical profession. This session is appropriate for those working in Primary Care as well as other providers, including physicians, nurses and other clinicians.
