Paul Daugalis (Australia) has worked in the fields of Engineering, Construction and Maintenance for the past 30 years throughout Australia, Europe and the Middle East. He has worked heavily in oil and gas, mining, utilities, rail and more recently the building industries and considered an expert in Asset Management (ISO 55000).
He is currently the owner of Pro Reliability Management Consultancy LLC in Dubai, UAE of which he led the development of AssetCoreXL a state of the art, online reliability engineering platform that encompasses RCM, RAM modelling, data analytics and RCFA.
Paul Daugalis began his career as a Reliability Engineer at Mobil Adelaide Refinery in Australia in 1993. Following the Exxon-Mobil merger, he joined Transfield Services, which grew to become the southern hemisphere's largest outsourcing company for maintenance and engineering by 2006. During his tenure there, he worked across various industries, implementing cutting-edge technologies in maintenance and reliability engineering, and overseeing site-based performance contracts for clients.
In 2007, Paul Daugalis was sought after by ARMS Reliability and relocated to Europe to expand their operations and deliver training and consultancy services, expanding his international expertise. By 2011, he became Managing Director for TP Engineering, and two years later, he was again headhunted to establish and lead an engineering design and construction company based in Lithuania that built 45 sports arenas throughout Norway. Serving as CEO until 2021, he skilfully developed this venture into a thriving segment of the Hugaas Group, overseeing more than 320 professionals across 6 companies in 4 countries at its zenith.
With his experience across whole of asset life from concept to disposal, he has focussed on establishing a career within Physical Asset Management and had recently held a position of Chairman of the European Asset Management Committee (EAMC) and represented EFNMS on the Global Forum of Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM).
