ScienceWorks is een intermediair tussen wetenschap en maatschappij. Een van onze belangrijkste doelstellingen is het vergroten van de maatschappelijke impact van wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Dit vereist de ontwikkeling van complexe samenwerkingsvormen en het verbinden van tegengestelde belangen. Met goede samenwerking en inzet van de juiste instrumenten, kan maximaal rendement worden verkregen. Om dit aan te tonen houden we ons ook bezig met het meten van deze maatschappelijke impact. Wij richten ons op zowel de exacte wetenschappen als de sociale- en geesteswetenschappen en ondersteunen (lokale) overheden, universiteiten en bedrijven bij het analyseren en ontwikkelen van samenwerkingsverbanden. Desgewenst brengen we nieuwe verbanden tot stand. Wij doen dit aan de hand van wereldwijde ‘best practices’ en met de inzet van internationaal toonaangevende experts uit onze Adviesraad.
