William Monroe Trotter Collaborative for Social Justice

The William Monroe Trotter Collaborative for Social Justice supports organizations, local governments, and state governments on social justice challenges by 1) developing a legal strategy, 2) a legislative strategy, 3) a policy strategy, 4) a communications strategy, 5) and research designs. We endeavor to work with potential collaborators who could use the support of Harvard faculty, students, and staff at the grassroots level. The Trotter Collaborative supports organizations by offering the resources akin to a law firm, think tank, consulting firm, lobbying firm, communications firm, and economic research firm working to address their social justice issues. The Trotter Collaborative is yet another vineyard in which Harvard students, faculty, and staff toil for justice. Furthermore, this model of engaged research and clinical education has expanded the range of advocacy tools advocates use, the people Harvard Kennedy School serves, and the social impact of Harvard Kennedy School.
